Free Taco @ Work

When i arrived at work, my co-worker told me we had taco in the break room. I asked her why. It's because we had 30 days accident free at work. That is good. Free lunch for us. Our store has been doing good since last year. It is the newest store in Omaha and so far, we are #2 and it is not bad at all for just a 3 year old store. It is the cleanest store and the employees are friendly.
We have been getting our bonus every quarter. Plus, we have free food every time we get our bonus. It really helps a lot.
Back to the taco, it was really good. We had ice cream cup too for our dessert. We were having a feast. yummy.

Two Occasions In A Day

There were two occasions had happened yesterday. The first one was sad. We had to attend Uncle Ned's burial. He was a friend here in Omaha. He was so nice to everybody. In every event before, He was always there. He was one of the officers in the Filipino-American Organization. We found out that He had a lung cancer when we had our first Friday of the month mass. He was telling us how he'd been through from being admitted to the hospital and how he had his radiation went. We could hear how bad his cough was & saw his skin being affected on his illness. Couple weeks after, my aunt left a voice message on my phone saying the Uncle Ned passed away. It was really sad. But the good thing is, He wouldn't suffer anymore & God took away his pain shorter. The gospel of the mass yesterday was so nice. It was about him how He served God all his life. He even had the chance to have the blessing for the sickly people. For me, He is such a lucky guy that He had been prepared on his death. He knew that his death would come soon & he had been preparing himself. I know that He is in heaven and been watching His loved ones on earth. May You rest in peace Uncle Ned.
The second occasion that I had was our 4th year wedding anniversary. Nothing fancy happened. We just went out to watch a movie & dined out after. We made a plan that we wouldn't give any present for each other since we had it in advance and we have to save for our coming trip. Hubby had to work since his co-worker still on vacation. Before hubby went home, I took my friend to our house to get those old clothes from me instead of giving it away to Goodwill. After awhile, I took her to the mall and bought her some stuff. She was having a good time and we're hoping to do it again next time.

Shopping

I've been shopping since yesterday. I went out with Evelyn & Auntie Marisa. We had fun. I found some things that I bought. But mostly it wasn't for me. I only bought 1 item for me. The rest is for hubby and for my mom. I was tired when i got home. Since hubby had to help his brother moving out, I just cooked steamed rice & had kare-kare for dinner. He had Taco John for his dinner. I just woke up when he got home after helping his brother & wished I didn't take a nap because I had troubled to get some sleep later that night. I ended up sleeping for only 5 hours. whew.
I had to work this morning and will have Friday off. I switched my day off this week. I left early since we had to renew our lease in our townhomes. But instead of going to the office, hubby called the office first before going there since he remembered last year, they just had to send the paperwork and we can drop it in the office once we write our signature.
So, instead, we went to Famous Footwear to check out their shoes. I've been looking for a pair of shoes for our trip. duh. For so much shoes I have, I still can't find any of them that I could use it. hehehe. I was glad we went there, I found a pair of shoes that I could wear it for work. It's a bargain too. yay.
We went to Culver's for dinner. I wanted to eat burger so we went there. We stopped by in McDonald's after to buy vanilla cone. yum.

Burger

I came home and saw hubby grilling in the patio. Smell so good. I got in inside the house & the table was ready. It is so nice to be home. All I had to do was change my clothes & was ready to eat. Burger & fries was our dinner. He had German chocolate cake while I was having the fruit salad dessert. It was such a good night & I had to prepare our clothes for tomorrow. Such an ordinary day yet so nice.

60 Days Accident Free

We have free food at work. We had hamburger, sausage, chips & pop. We're 60 days accident free. It's nice to have free food sometimes at work. hehehe. The management were the one who cooked the food. Next week, we'll be having another free food. It's about our My Share Plus Bonus.
